Payment

We accept all major credit cards through our secure payment gateway or through your PayPal account.

We offer financing on all of our pieces through Affirm.

Returns / Exchanges

We hand make each of our pieces with care and with our customers in mind, and we truly hope our pieces bring you joy. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your JKD piece upon receipt, you may return your piece in accordance with the terms set forth below.

Prior authorization of return and valid RA number is required: please contact us within 1–2 days of receipt of your JKD piece(s) via email at returns@jenniekwondesigns.com.

This request must include:

  • your original order number,
  • reason for your return, and
  • whether you would like to request a refund to original method of payment or store credit.

If the request is approved, we will get back to you as soon as possible with an RA number, in most cases, by the following business day. 

Store credit can be held for use on a future JKD piece or can be used for an immediate exchange for another JKD piece of equal or greater value.

Return Shipping: We do not refund original shipping fees. If you are provided with an RA number for your return, the email to you will include the following:

  • RA number.
  • Insured UPS label for your return. The cost of this insured shipping label will be deducted from the amount to be refunded or store credit amount, as applicable.
  • Instructions on how to return your package.

Authorized return shipments must be postmarked within 10 days of receiving approval, without exception. 

Your return package must be scanned (for security/insurance purposes) by a UPS driver or at a UPS store.  Do not under any circumstance, leave the package in a UPS or FedEx dropbox or mail via USPS. 

All items must be returned in their original packaging and in an unworn conditionRefund or store credit is subject to receipt of the JKD piece in unworn and undamaged condition.

Please make sure that the package is properly padded and securely packaged for transit. Be advised that it may take up to 3 days to process your return before a refund or store credit is issued.

Refunds will typically appear on your statement within one week. For questions on the status of your return, please contact us. 

Refunds to the original method of payment or store credit will reflect the full amount paid for the piece minus original shipping fees and the cost of return shipping and insurance as noted above. 

Customized pieces, including pieces made in sizes outside of what are listed on our site, pieces purchased outside of our site, pieces that are engraved and OOAK pieces are final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

All international orders are final sale.

We are not able to accept international returns due to specific U.S. import regulations.

Please note we are also not able to issue any refunds on the original duties & taxes paid by the receiver on behalf of your order. These fees are remitted to the destination country at the time of order placement.

Please note that we reserve the right to  deny a refund, credit, or exchange if your piece does not meet our return policy requirements. 

We are not able to refund, exchange or offer credit for pieces that have been lost or damaged in transit, stolen or have not been properly delivered to and received by JKD.

To the extent we are able to recover insurance proceeds for a lost, damaged or stolen package, we will at that point issue you a refund to the original method of purchase or store credit, as applicable, in such amount recovered.

For JKD pieces purchased through one of our retail partners, please contact the retailer directly, as we do not accept returns or exchanges on their behalf.

Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled. Should you need to make any changes to the style or size of the piece (e.g., change in ring size or color of metal) please
contact us at sales@jenniekwondesigns.com within 24 hours of purchase. 

Any changes requested after this 24 hour window may be denied or subject to a fee.

Repairs

For all repair requests, please email us at sales@jenniekwondesigns.com.

Please include the following:

  • subject line: repair request
  • original order number
  • clear photo of your piece in its current state
  • description of the issue

A JKD team member will review the request and respond within 2 business days with a preliminary quote for the repair if the repair is approved.

No repairs will be accepted without prior return authorization. 

The customer is responsible for all necessary incurred expenses for the repair, which includes all shipping fees.  Payment must be received prior to sending the package to our studio.

Please note that JKD is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen or damaged in transit. Accordingly, we recommend that you insure your package and securely package your item.

For pieces purchased through third party retailers, please contact them directly for any repair issues.

We reserve the right to refuse repairs and approve each request on a case by case basis.

We will not repair pieces that have been damaged outside what is considered to be caused by normal wear or touched by an outside jeweler.

In the unlikely event that you receive a defective JKD item, please contact us at sales@jenniekwondesigns.com no later than 1 - 2 days after receipt of this item for an RA number. Please make sure to include a clear photo of your piece.

The JKD team will review this request and respond with an RA number within 1-2 business days should we approve the request.

All packages must be postmarked no later than 5 days after receiving an RA number from our team.

We will make all necessary repairs to the item and return it to you.

Please note that variations in stone color or differences in milgrain texture are not considered manufacturer's defects.

Shipping & Delivery

Any Ready to Ship items will be shipped within 1 - 2 business days after an order is placed. All other pieces are handmade to order and will take up to 2 weeks to produce, after which it will be shipped. Certain customized orders may take longer.

All US orders are shipped uninsured via UPS. If you'd like to insure your package, please contact us at sales@jenniekwondesigns.com. 

Please note that UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes. 

Shipping fees for orders up to $1,500 are as follows:

Continental US

UPS Ground: $10

2-Day: $25

Alaska or Hawaii

UPS Ground: $20

UPS 2-Day: $40

We require signature delivery for orders greater than $1,500, and shipping rates are adjusted accordingly.

International orders are shipped via UPS. Estimated shipping time is 5-10 business days plus any time required to clear customs.

Shipping fees for international orders up to $1,500 are as follows:

Canada: $35

All other countries: $50

Please be advised that if you are shipping to destinations outside the United States, you are responsible for assuring the item can be lawfully imported to the destination country.

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. These and any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information.

We are happy to arrange for insurance on your package for an additional fee, and will also work with you in the event you have other expedited shipping needs.  

Upon request, we can also change signature delivery requirements for your orders.

JKD is not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit. Accordingly, we recommend that you insure your package.  Please make sure to note a shipping address that is secure and corret.

Taxes

We collect local sales tax for any orders that ship to destinations within the State of California. This sales tax, if any, will be added to the cost of your order during checkout.

Customizing our pieces

We offer alternate standard lengths on any of our necklaces and bracelets and rings may be customized to fit most sizes.

If you are interested in simply swapping existing stones in our pieces for a particular stone, we will let you know if this is possible and provide a quote. In certain instances, we do charge a stone sourcing fee in order to provide a quote.
